Heavy Metal
The heavy mental community is a very strong function of people with shared values, standards, and actions. Jared, a current student attending JCCC (Johnson County Community College), states that there are more than 100s of subgenres. Struggling to find a new taste in music, Jarred, seeks his father for innovative interests in the musical industry. He simply asked his father for more information over the musical choice. He got more than just a response, his father led him towards a new musical world. Inspired with the various number of genres from just one category, he pushed himself to listen to the other types of music that Heavy metal had to offer, with his top three favorite choices that included Metalcore, Deathcore, and Death mental. He has been greatly influenced by heavy metal and this influence is seen everywhere, including in modern music and modern society.
The roots of Rock and Roll started in Birmingham, England with limited options for the young people near the late 1960s. The new form Hard Rock, metal, took its place in the evolving world of musical interests.  The most common question asked is, “who is the father of rock and roll?” According to Kalhan Rosenblatt from NBC News, Chuck Berry, the father of rock and roll, inspired rhythm and blues with the musical culture. Charles Edward Anderson Berry, Chuck Berry, was born on October 18, 1926 in Saint Louis, Missouri and passed away at the age of 90 on March 18, 2017 in Wentzville, Missouri. Throughout his career, Berry has been a songwriter and an American singer. He has played many roles in the movie industry, one movie called Jazz on a Summer’s Day.
What does heavy meal consist of? Well depending on the genre of heavy mental, the vibes can change depending of the artists clothing style, sounds, and vocal style. An example of the 80s styled heavy metal music consisted of regular singing with high-pitched sounds made from the singer. Heavy metal music has voices such as growling of the lyrics. This can all vary on the style, bass-vibration, drums, instrumental equipment, and the number of people. Heavy metal can usually be mislabeled as, well, heavy metal. “Not actually heavy metal” as Jared says during the interview. “Certain bands are labeled as heavy metal when in reality they are a disgrace to this genre Concerts are usually the hype moments to the Heavy metal community. The number of people attending these types of concerts can vary anywhere from 10-20,000+ people. Mosh pits and The Wall of Death are the intense moments to the concert. These normally consist of injuries and an amazing experience with the friendly environment.
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Hard Rock bands with artists such as the Kinks, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix have made heavy metal popular through their ways of musical instrumentals. Heavy metal has its own way of coming about with the new rock and roll age. Heavy metal consists of a harder form of rock music with the sounds of electric guitars to different levels of vocal styles. Great music from the 80s include One by Metallica, Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, and Breaking the Law by Judas Priest. A more commonly known band is AC/DC and considered heavy-hard rock. This band was formed in Sydney, Australia with their music labeled as hard rock, blue rock, and heavy metal.
Some of the more popular heavy metal bands include Metallica (1981), Megadeth (1983), and Slayer (1981). Black Sabbath, an English rock band artist, is quoted as the first heavy metal band by the majority his fans. This band consisted of various known members such as Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Lommi, Bill Wand, and several others. The band had different artists including lead vocals, lead guitar, drum, drum kits, keyboard, bass, and bass guitar.
Overall, it’s very obvious as to why Jarred and its many known fans have been influenced in this heavy metal genre of music with 100 subgenres. The history of heavy metal has had its own ways of expressing emotion the musical industry. Jarred’s father has definitely made a great recommendation choice of such a diverse genre of musical taste.
