Heavy Metal
The
heavy mental community is a very strong function of people with shared values,
standards, and actions. Jared, a current student attending JCCC (Johnson County
Community College), states that there are more than 100s of subgenres. Struggling
to find a new taste in music, Jarred, seeks his father for innovative interests
in the musical industry. He simply asked his father for more information over
the musical choice. He got more than just a response, his father led him
towards a new musical world. Inspired with the various number of genres from
just one category, he pushed himself to listen to the other types of music that
Heavy metal had to offer, with his top three favorite choices that included Metalcore,
Deathcore, and Death mental. He has been greatly influenced by heavy metal and
this influence is seen everywhere, including in modern music and modern society.
The roots
of Rock and Roll started in Birmingham, England with limited options for the
young people near the late 1960s. The new form Hard Rock, metal, took its place
in the evolving world of musical interests. The most common question asked is, “who is the
father of rock and roll?” According to Kalhan Rosenblatt from NBC News, Chuck
Berry, the father of rock and roll, inspired rhythm and blues with the musical
culture. Charles Edward Anderson Berry, Chuck Berry, was born on October 18,
1926 in Saint Louis, Missouri and passed away at the age of 90 on March 18,
2017 in Wentzville, Missouri. Throughout his career, Berry has been a
songwriter and an American singer. He has played many roles in the movie
industry, one movie called Jazz on a Summer’s Day.
What
does heavy meal consist of? Well depending on the genre of heavy mental, the
vibes can change depending of the artists clothing style, sounds, and vocal
style. An example of the 80s styled heavy metal music consisted of regular
singing with high-pitched sounds made from the singer. Heavy metal music has
voices such as growling of the lyrics. This can all vary on the style,
bass-vibration, drums, instrumental equipment, and the number of people. Heavy
metal can usually be mislabeled as, well, heavy metal. “Not actually heavy
metal” as Jared says during the interview. “Certain bands are labeled as heavy
metal when in reality they are a disgrace to this genre Concerts are usually
the hype moments to the Heavy metal community. The number of people attending
these types of concerts can vary anywhere from 10-20,000+ people. Mosh pits and
The Wall of Death are the intense moments to the concert. These normally consist
of injuries and an amazing experience with the friendly environment.
In the
late 1960s and early 1970s, Hard Rock bands with artists such as the Kinks, Led
Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix have made heavy metal popular through their ways of
musical instrumentals. Heavy metal has its own way of coming about with the new
rock and roll age. Heavy metal consists of a harder form of rock music with the
sounds of electric guitars to different levels of vocal styles. Great music
from the 80s include One by Metallica, Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, and Breaking
the Law by Judas Priest. A more commonly known band is AC/DC and considered
heavy-hard rock. This band was formed in Sydney, Australia with their music labeled
as hard rock, blue rock, and heavy metal.
Some of
the more popular heavy metal bands include Metallica (1981), Megadeth (1983), and
Slayer (1981). Black Sabbath, an English rock band artist, is quoted as the
first heavy metal band by the majority his fans. This band consisted of various
known members such as Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Lommi, Bill Wand, and several others.
The band had different artists including lead vocals, lead guitar, drum, drum
kits, keyboard, bass, and bass guitar.
Overall,
it’s very obvious as to why Jarred and its many known fans have been influenced
in this heavy metal genre of music with 100 subgenres. The history of heavy
metal has had its own ways of expressing emotion the musical industry. Jarred’s
father has definitely made a great recommendation choice of such a diverse
genre of musical taste.
