Courtney community Profile

It is very nice when you know someone else community, I interviewed Courtney, my classmate at Johnson county community college. She is well organized, she belf-disciplined and respectful. Why did she interested to be a part of lost and found pets community?
Courtney is located in Olathe, Kansas. She has a Facebook page called lost and found pets; she joined the community in 2016. Courtney is 19 years old, she is Christian, she went to Olathe North high school but left sophomore year. She graduated from an alternative school called SOAR.  She has a boyfriend, one son and one dog with who she has a good relationship. She is related to a big community on Facebook where they can discuss, everything related to the pets to the pet’s safety.  Courtney started when her aunt lost her dog. At that moment, she felt she could help other people. All of them are deviate to search and help pets lost, they are 2000 peoples, and her community president is Gleen Golden. The most important thing in her community the keep animals’ safe.
When she sees a lost dog close to where I live, she will go out and look for the dog. although she has never been part of actually catching a lost dog, Courtney finds a lot of animals near her house.

Where she lives, there’s a lot of woods and creek. That makes her house a very known place for stray dogs and cats to go to. So, when she sees an unfamiliar animal, she will take a picture of the animal and post H to the lost and found website. Attached to the picture, she gives a description like what cross-streets, she found H, what time she saw H and a short description of what the animal looked like.
She joined the Facebook group after her aunt’s dog went missing and was never found. They looked for months, posted the dog on websites, posted flyers around town and still they couldn’t find the dog. Her heart broke because it made her realize how often a lost animal is never found. Every time she sees a lost animal dog or stray, she had to make sure she is done with her part in trying to get it home safe.
Sometime when there is a lost dog, it unfortunately wasn’t lost at all. But abandoned by its owner. In cases like that where the owners are found and don’t want the dog, the dog will go to a local animal shelter where it can adopt.
Glenn Golden admin of the page, will request home visits or a dog taken from owner. This only happens if a dog keeps getting loose or constantly being lost.
She posted B dogs that she founds in her way backyard and Glenn Golden was very upset with the owners. These 3 dogs had jumped their fence 3 times in a 2 weeks period. He saw the owner was unfit to take care of the dogs if the owner couldn’t keep the dogs in the yard. A home check was done by the animal control and the owner promised to put in a teller face.
Courtney loves and enjoy the dog’s community because animals means so much to her and their owners it is all about getting them home safe for dogs sake and owners sake. she gets help people find their loved animals and feels good to give someone their animal back.
